Gigan vs. Iris (Crystal Settings)

Setting: Paris. The crystals here have turned Paris into a tornado garden. Several tornadoes ravage the place at the same time, and half the city is already torn apart. It is here that Iris dwells, wreaking havok, so not even the people in shelters are safe. The military in jets and tanks risk their lives among the wind and perils, either blown into nearby buildings or destroyed by Iris's beams and feet.

A fireball that was once a jet crashed into the ground after Iris shot it with a beam from one of it's tentacles. Something disturbed the clouds nearby... a bright, red light. Iris turned to it, unsure of what it was. Then, out of those clouds, a crimson beam hit him square in the chest, clustering into many other smaller explosions of red light. Iris staggered. He regained his footing and shot back with his tentacle beams. He saw another light, this one an explosion, which meant that his unseen foe had taken the hint. He already knew who it was. Gigan, sent once again to weaken him so the vortaak could gain control over him. Gigan fell through the clouds into the street. Gigan picked himself up and roared. He ran towards Iris, hoping to take him down close range. He slashed, but Iris parried with his own handblade, then wrapped a tentacle around the arm Gigan had just attacked with. Gigan attacked with the other, only to have the sme thing happen to it. Iris then thrust his other two tentacles, handblades, and knee-scyths into Gigans chest, and trew him into a Class 5 Tornado, the only kind strong enough to pick up a kaijuIris had to thrust all his limbs into the ground to keep from being lifted up, but that didn't keep him from feeling a spark of satisfaction when it sent Gigan hurling into a skyscraper.

Gigan had to continue the fight. No matter what it took, he had to defeat Iris. He straffed low to the ground, fireing his beam again and again. Iris simply deflected them with his harpoon-tipped tentacles, redirecting them into nearby buildings. Gigan fired his barb-wires at him, this time successfully ensnaring Iris. He reeled Iris in, then, when he was close enough, powered his buzz saw. It tore through Iris's chest, spraying blood and guts everywhere. It was a fatal wound. He then brought his blades through Iris's right arm, severing one of them, but Gigan's other blade was intercepted by Iris's left scyth half way through the left arm.

Iris stabbed Gigan with all his tentacles. He then powered up all his beams, planning to make a quick end to Gigan by firing inside his body. Gigan leapt back, freeing himself, and took flight. As he rose, he forced his sharp tail through Iris's chest and dragged him through the air and into a skyscraper. Iris managed to get up, and took flight himself. This would end in the sky, high above the clouds and tornadoes. Once their, they flew around each other, then Gigan made the first move, bringing his bladed hands across Iris's chest. Iris recoiled, then put distance between him and Gigan. He then tired with his tentacle beams, and Gigan coutered with his own beam. They collided half way through the air. Each one poured more power into their beam(s). Gigan was beginning to lose. The beams reached him, exploded, and sent Gigan spinning out of control. He regained control and the two monsters sped toward each other. Iris lashed out with his scyths as Gigan attacked with his hands. Iris as able to parry both of the hands with one scyth and drag his other scyth through Gigan's flesh. As they flew past, Iris hooked his scyth while it was still in Gigan, swinging himself around to Gigan's back, where he used his other scyth to cut Gigan's head off. Gigan's body plummeted to the ground, crashing into the Ifle Tower, and Iris landed next to it, roaring triumphantly.
