Great Plain

The Great Plain is a wide open area on Darwin IV.

Xenomorph's pod vilently landed and scared off a herd of Littoralopes. He got out of the pod, and looked around. He saw Quard Trees happily planted in the ground, but he saw now animals, that is, until he came face to face with a GyroSprinter. He grabbed, it but it put up a good struggle. He used his tail to cut its neck, and looked around. He spotted an ArrowTounge eyeing his kill. He used the dead GyroSprinter to coax the ArrowTounge to him. He planned to tame the ArrowTounge.

Many days have passed, and Xenomorph has gained the trust of the ArrowTounge. Its name is BloodShot, ad it is male. Now, Xenomorph boards his pod, and gestures for BloodShot to follow. He does, and the blast off. To the ISS.

The shuttle lands, and everyone exits. Xeno gave BloodShot the ok, and he took off into a patch of Goard Trees. A Gyro Sprinter was seen in the distance. BloodShot walked with amazing stealth, and in a split second, took off running. The GyroSprinter ran.

Xeht asked Xeno, "What do you thinks gonna happen?"

Xeno answered, "I don't think BloodShot has this one. ArrowTounges have the turning radius of a dump truck, bt a GyroSprinter can turn on a dime."

"What if he jumps and turns in mid-air?" asked Xeht. "It sounds stupid, but it ought to work. I've seen it happen before."

(Sorry I took so long. GU clouded my vision)

"It might, but BloodShot doesn't take hunting advise."

BloodShot and the GyroSprinter ran into a Guard Tree patch. The GyroSprinter tripped on one of the roots, and fell. It struggled on the ground, trying to get up, but BloodShot was too fast. He pounced on top of the GyroSprinter, and stabbed with his tounge. He started to suck out all of the fluids.

"Well, meanwhile...." Xeno walked to the shuttle, went inside, and came out with a backpack. "This backpack has all the exploring nessesities. It has Camera Spiders for hard to reach places, and flying Camera Disks." Xeno pressed s button on the laptop, and a Camera Disk flew out of the backpack. Xeht looked at the camera, and the camera looked back.

In the mountains, a creature was spying on the team. It retreated at the sight of the Camera Disk.

Xeht shivered.

"What?" asked Xeno.

"It felt like we were being watched for a minute their. It certaintly wasn't these cameras. Let's stay on guard."

An arm extended out of the backpack, and caught the Camera Disk.

"So, where shall we trek?"

"I've always been one for the mountains," suggested Xeht. Really, he was just following what he had just felt. He wanted to know what was making him feel like he was being watched. And Xeno knew that. Xeht knew that Xeno knew it, and Xeno knew that Xeht knew that Xeno knew it, and so on and so forth.

"Ok. To the Mountains."
